Schools

Practical, outdoor activities can be tailored to meet the needs of student groups.  Activities can be linked to specific learning objectives or curriculum requirements in, for example Maths, english, Science, Business studies or Geography.

Activities may also be community driven; planting trees, hedges or creating a community garden.  I can build in team building, self esteem or employability skills - the opportunities to learn and grow are limitless in horticulture.

The concept of All Growth Matters is to provide a bespoke service using the outside environment as the classroom. Opportunities for students to learn in a relaxed atmosphere outside the conventional classroom  produces excellent results.

Each visit can be organised to suit student needs.

I can be booked for full day or half day sessions.

Subjects include:  Plant Science, Soil Science, Botanical Nomenclature and Classification, Establishing Plants, Propagation, Work Experience, Group Tutorials, Plant Identification, Construction - horizontal surfaces, Garden Design, Pruning and Planting.

Practical activities can be linked to the curriculum, with bespoke programmes of learning designed for specific groups or learners.

All topics can be coverd at Level 2 or 3 and will include Schemes of Work and Lesson Plans.
